
A new vision for the Kettering Field Sports Complex just north of downtown Dayton
Transformation is underway
Phase One planned improvements at Kettering Field Sports Complex (444 N. Bend Blvd.) are under construction. When complete, one of the region's largest outdoor recreation and sports areas will offer improved accessibility and safety, with refurbished and all-new attractions for team and individual sports. Construction will continue through mid-2026, with an estimated completion date of August 2026.
Improvements at Kettering Field Sports Complex include:
- New or improved athletic fields, including synthetic turf surfaces
- Improved lighting, seating, and parking areas
- Pickleball courts
- Tennis courts
- On-site staffing by the City of Dayton Department of Recreation

Visitors are asked to avoid fenced-off sections, cone-marked areas, and any spaces that are visibly under construction.
