Water shut-offs will continue to be suspended

May 6, 2020 Water Shut Offs Flier

In response to Governor DeWine’s Stay Safe Ohio Order, the City of Dayton will continue to suspend water shut-offs for its utility account customers who are unable to pay the utility bill because of the COVID-19 crisis until further notice. The City will still bill for any water, sewer, and waste collection services, but termination will not occur for unpaid bills until the moratorium is lifted

We encourage all residents with the ability to pay their water bill to do so to avoid a large bill once the moratorium is lifted. While in-person operations are suspended, water bills can still be paid online at, by phone at 937.333.3550, by mail, and through the payment drop box located at 101 West Third Street. Remote locations located at Family Dollar and CVS Stores are available for cash payments.
