Administers and interprets the Zoning Code under R.C.G.O. Chapter 150; Collaborates with planning staff in implementation of the City’s land use plan in a manner which strengthens the City as a place to live, work, and invest. The Division of Housing and Inspections also strives to arrest blight and nuisance conditions which erode neighborhood quality of life through:
Enforcement of the Public Nuisance Ordinance,
Non-Residential Building Exterior Maintenance,
Environmental Nuisances: Trees & Trash,
Housing Ordinance, and
Abandoned & Junk Vehicles.
