Due to planned construction on Ludlow St, the City of Dayton’s payment dropbox will be temporarily relocated. Beginning Monday, March 1, 2021, the new temporary location will be on the west side of City Hall on Third Street, between the Municipal Garage and City Hall. The dropbox will remain in this location through October 2021 or until the construction is completed.
Dayton Utility and Income Tax customers may use the secure dropbox to submit payments or tax documents at this new location 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All payments submitted through the dropbox will be processed on the next business day.
The dropbox should not be used for payments on utility accounts that have been scheduled for shut-off or require the payment to be posted on the same day. Please enter City Hall from the Third St. entrance and go to the Treasury Office on the 1st floor.
Utility customers are encouraged to pay online at www.paydaytonwater.com, through the IVR system by calling 937-333-3550, or in-person with cash at CVS and Family Dollar stores. Income tax payments, including supporting tax documents, may be submitted online at www.daytonohio.gov/paytax.
