Why is the Source Water Protection Program (SWPP) important?

The SWPP program continues to protect and preserve the region's drinking water in partnership with our citizens and business community. Plus the program provides training opportunities to assist in reducing risk to our drinking water.

How does the SWPP partner with business and reduce risk?

We offer assistance in completing a Regulated Substance Activity Inventory Report (RSAIR), providing grants for Best Business Practice (BMP), setting up employee training, and becoming Blue-Gold Certified.
