Park Shelter/Special Event Reservation
The City of Dayton has 34 picnic shelters available from April 1 to September 30. These shelters are located in natural settings at the various City parks. Each shelter seats 25 people; with the exception of Triangle Park Pavilion which seats nearly 120 people. Water and restrooms are available beginning May 1 through September 30. The cost for renting these shelters is $50 per day (the Triangle Park Pavilion is $75 per day. Shelters may be occupied from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
All shelter reservation rental permits must be signed and returned with payment within 14 days.

Special event request should be entered on a City of Dayton Special Event Request Form (PDF) Opens a New Window. . All forms must be returned together for approval.
Once approval of your Special Event has been completed a Rental Permit will be mailed or emailed to you for your signature and must be return signed along with your payment within 14 days.
