What Are the Qualifications for the Registry?

All of the criteria below must be met by both members of the domestic partnership:

• Both individuals share a common residence as defined in Section 30.30 (B) of the Revised Code of General Ordinances of the City of Dayton.
• Both individuals affirm that they have a committed relationship and share responsibility for each others common welfare.
• Neither individual is married to any other individual or is a part of an existing domestic partnership with any third party.
• Each individual is 18 years of age or older.
• The individuals are not related to one another by blood in a way that would prevent them from being married to one another in this State.
