Mayor Nan Whaley: Dayton Is a Welcoming Community

A statement released by Mayor Whaley on January 26, 2017:

The City of Dayton is a welcoming and inclusive community, committed to supporting the success of every person who lives here. We have made a commitment to treat all residents equally regardless of where they come from, how they worship or who they love. This acceptance allows our public safety officials to build stronger community ties, which leads to the increased safety to the residents of Dayton. I am proud to be Mayor of a city that openly supports diversity and its positive effects on the community.
