Presentation of the 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan (Including City of Dayton and Dayton-Kettering HOME Consortium)


2016 City of Dayton Action Plan; and City of Dayton Citizen Participation Plan
The City of Dayton will hold a public comment period and two presentations and public hearings on the draft needs, priorities, and strategies for the 2016-2020 City of Dayton and Dayton-Kettering HOME Consortium Consolidated Plan, the 2016 City of Dayton Action Plan, and the City of Dayton Citizen Participation Plan.

Community Development Block Grant


The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires cities receiving Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) entitlement funds to submit a five-year Consolidated Plan and an annual Action Plan describing the city’s one-year planned use of grant funds. The City of Dayton has also developed a revised Citizen Participation Plan detailing policies and procedures for citizen participation and input related to HUD funding. These three documents will be submitted to HUD no later than November 15, 2015.

Presentations and Public Hearings


The City of Dayton’s presentations and public hearings on the Consolidated Plan, Action Plan, and Citizen Participation Plan will be held during the regularly-scheduled Community and Neighborhood Development Advisory Board meetings on Monday, September 14, 2015, and Monday, October 12, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. in the 6th Floor Training Room:

Draft Copies


Draft copies of the Consolidated Plan, Action Plan, and Citizen Participation Plan will be available for review beginning September 9, 2015. Comments on the draft plans will be accepted through 5 p.m. on October 12, 2015. All comments received during the public comment period and public hearings will be summarized and included in the final documents submitted to HUD.
